ABOUT INTOUCH STATIONERY

In October 2010, Gill Schell purchased “Peritwinkle”, a small stationery company founded in Singapore in 2002 by Kelly Zotos. Gill renamed the company “inTouch Stationery” to reflect her main aim: to keep people “in touch” through offering clients not only a tempting selection of high-quality stationery, be it an invitation, an announcement or a simple note card, but also a unique one-to-one personal service.

Born and educated in England, Gill lived in Switzerland for 25 years before moving to Singapore in 2008 with her husband and two children. In 2015 the family moved to Malaysia from where she now manages the business, driving down to Singapore on a monthly basis.

During her working life, Gill has held various positions in finance, communication, marketing and sales, working many years for a visual arts publisher and for the Swiss National Museum.

Having lived abroad for so long, Gill puts a lot of importance on maintaining family ties and friendships:

“While I recognise that text messaging and emails are invaluable in today’s frantic world, nothing can beat a hand-written note to show how much you care for someone, how much you appreciate them – your unique style and language are a reflection of you as a person. I firmly believe that the two can and should live side by side …”

inTouch Stationery brings together everything Gill appreciates : personal contact with her customers, a love of print and paper, creativity and design skills, the opportunity to work together with talented up-and-coming Singaporean and Malaysian artists, and most important of all, the chance to help deepen existing friendships and establish new ones by restoring personal and hand-written communication.
